Responsibilities
Facilitate the closeout of capital projects, including validation and reconciliation of supporting documentation
Review and close open purchase orders (POs) related to capital expenditures
Convert Construction-in-Progress (CIP) items to fixed assets in the fixed asset ledger
Process and record fixed asset retirements, including identifying assets in the ledger that require removal and preparing completion/retirement reports for the corporate Fixed Assets team
Maintain accurate and organized back-end accounting records to support audits and internal reporting
Assist in clearing a backlog of approximately 325 capital projects requiring closeout and ledger updates
Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and corporate reporting requirements
Qualification
Required
Experience in fixed asset accounting
Proficiency in SAP
Proficiency in Excel, including v-lookups and pivot tables
Bachelor's Degree required
Preferred
Experience in Fixed Asset Accounting preferred
