VP of Product - Factiva

The Wall Street Journal is seeking an experienced and visionary VP of Product for Factiva. This role involves leading product strategy and execution for a comprehensive suite of products, focusing on innovation and the transformation of legacy systems into modern scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

Define and execute the product vision and strategy for Factiva's global news and data platform, with particular emphasis on integrating AI/GenAI capabilities to unlock new value from our content
Partner closely with key stakeholders (GM of Factiva, Proposition team, Sales leadership) to identify opportunities and translate market insights into actionable product plans
Lead the transformation of legacy products into modern, intelligent platforms that deliver automated insights, personalized experiences, and predictive capabilities
Manage a global product team while orchestrating cross-functional collaboration between Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, and Content teams
Establish and track key product metrics and customer feedback loops to validate AI-driven features and demonstrate business impact
Create and maintain clear product roadmaps that balance platform innovation with practical customer needs, communicating priorities effectively across stakeholder groups

Required

15+ years of product management experience
At least least 5 years in senior leadership roles managing complex B2B SaaS products
Demonstrated experience incorporating AI/ML and generative AI technologies into enterprise products to create differentiated value
Deep understanding of content aggregation, news/data licensing, and information services business models, with vision for how AI can transform these spaces
Experience with API products and enterprise integrations in the B2B space
Strong background in matrix organizations
Track record of building and leading high-performing product teams in a global organization
Bachelor's Degree -OR- equivalent experience
