Responsibilities
Provide electrical engineering support to mobile nuclear facilities, to include designing and optimizing systems and components
Provide troubleshooting and hands on installation
Produce and present written and oral reports and presentations as required
May interface with SRNL leadership, federal oversight resources, and other DOE complex sites
Ensure all activities adhere to SRNL safety, quality, records, and training programs
Support project managers in ensuring compliance with project standards, policies, and procedures
Coordinate project activities and resources, including tasks, schedules, deliverables
Qualification
Required
Working toward a bachelor's degree with a focus in electrical engineering, engineering technology, or a closely related field
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Ability to collaborate and contribute to a team of engineers, technicians, metallurgists, project managers, and other support staff
Highly effective communication, organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented with strong initiative
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
3.0 GPA
Minimum age of 18
Must be a U.S. citizen
Preferred
Proficiency with design and drafting software
Proficiency with programming PLCs
