Senior Air Cargo Charter Sales Manager
CharterSync is seeking an experienced Senior Air Cargo Charter Sales Manager to lead their growth in the air cargo charter market across the United States. The role involves managing high-value charter operations, building relationships with key clients, and shaping the company's US growth strategy.

Responsibilities
Manage high-value charter requests from initial inquiry through to successful delivery
Deliver exceptional customer experiences for freight forwarders and airlines using our global platform
Build deep, lasting relationships with key accounts across North America
Ensure flawless execution on time-critical and complex cargo movements
Provide expert support during charter requests and active flight operations
Assess aircraft suitability, weather conditions, airport capabilities, crew hours, required documentation, and cargo restrictions
Be available for 24/7 on-call support when required (as part of a rotating schedule)
Act as the trusted advisor clients turn to when stakes are high
Proactively develop new business opportunities with US freight forwarders and airline operators
Manage both internal and external leads to expand CharterSync's North American footprint
Identify strategic partnership opportunities in key US markets
Contribute to pricing strategy and contract negotiations
Meet with forwarders and airlines across the US and globally to demonstrate CharterSync's value proposition
Represent CharterSync at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events
Build CharterSync's reputation as the go-to platform for innovative air cargo solutions
Share market insights and customer feedback to help shape our product development
Help define our US market strategy and operational approach
Mentor junior team members as we expand
Contribute to building the team structure as CharterSync scales in North America
Be a culture carrier – set the standard for how we operate
Qualification
Required
Minimum 4 years' experience in the air cargo charter sector – you know this industry
Excellent understanding of cargo aircraft operations – types, capabilities, limitations, and logistics
Proven track record in charter sales or account management – you've closed deals and managed complex movements
Strong sales orientation and business development skills – you know how to grow accounts and win new business
Genuine passion for innovative technology – you're excited about modernising the industry
Professional communication skills – whether it's a 2am emergency call or a boardroom presentation
Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely – you manage your time and priorities effectively
Legal authorisation to work in the United States
Preferred
Established network of contacts within the US air cargo charter industry
Experience in the broader logistics or freight forwarding sector
Understanding of flight planning, flight time limitations, and weather interpretation
Experience working with digital platforms or SaaS tools
Track record of international sales or working with global clients
Previous leadership or mentoring experience
