Responsibilities

Strategy Implementation: This role will work closely with the Strategic Marketing Manager and another Field Marketing Manager in the Architectural Coatings Segment to drive and implement key elements of the Architectural Coatings strategy. Additionally, this role will provide an appropriate feedback loop from the market and our customers when appropriate modifications are required to the strategy
NAA Architectural Segment MIT Leadership: This role will be an important member of the NAA Architectural Coatings MMT (Market Management Team) and will help to lead the NAA Architectural Coatings Segment MIT (Market Implementation Team). Given the focus towards implementation activities, a key deliverable will be detailed Implementation Plans that provide specificity to the overall Architectural Coatings Strategy
L&OM Management: This role will play an important part in lead generation for the Architectural Coatings Segment across a variety of methods including Digital and more traditional lead generation methods to ensure a robust pipeline of Leads that can translate into tangible Opportunities. Additionally, this role will help to manage the Opportunity pipeline for the segment to help to enable sustained growth
Pricing: This role will play an important role in the Architectural Coatings Segment in developing out value pricing for new and existing products to help manage profitability as well as drive new opportunities for the Architectural Coatings segment. Developing an appreciation for competitive and market pricing as well as how our products are used in paint formulations will be critical to driving volume growth and optimized margins in the segment
Product: This role will work closely to prioritize the TS&D portfolio of projects including both broad market projects as well as customer specific projects. This role will work with the TS&D team to help plan, execute and develop the appropriate output materials for these varied projects. Finally, there could be a few R&D projects that this role would be responsible for leading from a Marketing perspective
Promotion: This role will work in close alignment with a cross functional team of Marketing, TS&D and Communications to develop out the right approaches to get our messages broadly out in the market through both digital and more conventional methods. This role will need to build out credible value propositions and messaging for our products that closely relate to jobs to be done in the Coatings market
Place: This role will help to drive our channel strategy and have a big role with our approach with several Distributors. Also, making sure to have the appropriate communication and support is critical to success
Key Customer Support: This role will work closely with the Sales and TS&D organizations and take an active engagement with our customers in the market. This will include interactions across customer functions on a variety of topics including talking to market trends and driving new product introductions. This person will be required to bring credibility to these accounts for DCM. Finally, this role will support the Account Teams in developing Account Plans to drive volume, differentiation and profitability at our core accounts
External Presence in the Market: This individual will need to establish or expand upon contacts across the value chain in Architectural Coatings to serve as a source of key market and value chain information into Dow as well as establishing brand new types of opportunities in the market. Additionally, this individual will establish themselves as a go-to in the organization around anything AC market related

Required

A minimum of a bachelor's degree or relevant military degree equivalence at or above a U.S. E5 or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or Sergeant ranking
A minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience
Willingness to travel domestically up to 40%
A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process
Superior written and oral communication skills, and ability to communicate effectively with people whose first language is not English. Fluency in other languages is a plus
Basic understanding of financial information
Self-starter, organized, highly motivated, and able to successfully prioritize
Interpersonal skills in multidisciplinary teams to be able to form good working relationships with internal and external contacts. Able to build and maintain relationships at all levels of the organization
