Oracle Consultant

Edge Staffing is seeking an experienced OPERA Cloud Migration Consultant to lead the migration of an on-prem Oracle OPERA legacy Property Management System to Oracle OPERA Cloud. The consultant will be responsible for scoping the project, developing data migration strategies, and guiding a broader migration team while ensuring operational readiness and post-go-live support.

Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end migration from a legacy PMS to Oracle OPERA Cloud
Assess current PMS architecture, data structures, integrations, and business processes
Define migration scope, approach, timelines, and risks
Develop and execute data migration strategies (guest profiles, reservations, rates, financials, etc.)
Coordinate and support OPERA Cloud configuration and deployment
Identify integration requirements with third-party systems (POS, CRM, channel managers, revenue systems, etc.)
Collaborate with stakeholders to validate requirements and ensure operational readiness
Support testing phases (UAT, parallel runs, go-live readiness)
Help define roles and responsibilities for a broader migration team (technical, functional, data, and training)
Provide post-go-live support and stabilization guidance as needed

Oracle OPERA CloudData migrationLegacy PMS migrationHospitality operationsConsulting experience

Required

Proven experience with Oracle OPERA Cloud deployments and migrations
Strong background migrating from legacy PMS platforms to modern cloud-based systems
Hands-on experience with data migration, validation, and reconciliation
Understanding of hospitality operations and hotel system workflows
Experience working in consulting or project-based environments
Ability to work independently in a fully remote setting
