Responsibilities
QA Strategy Leadership: Define and own the QA strategy for finance and regulatory reporting; lead and mentor analysts across functional, data, and UAT testing
Finance Accounting Validation: Validate end-to-end accounting flows, including transformations, postings, and journal entries; ensure accuracy of balances and reconciliations
Regulatory Quality Assurance: Lead QA for reports such as deposit reporting, capital, liquidity, and statutory filings, ensuring full data lineage and auditability
Data Systems Testing: Oversee testing of ETL layers, data warehouses, and reporting platforms; validate data quality (completeness, accuracy, consistency)
Controls & Audit Support: Align QA processes with SOX and internal controls; partner with Risk, Compliance, and Auditors for walkthroughs and evidence preparation
Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the bridge between Finance, Accounting, and Technology teams to translate regulatory requirements into test scenarios
Qualification
Required
8+ years in QA/Testing within Financial Services
Strong hands-on experience with accounting processes and banking regulatory reporting
Deep understanding of ETL data integration, data warehouses, and financial platforms (ERP/EPM)
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Information Systems
Preferred
CPA, CA, or equivalent accounting qualification
Experience with SOX/ITGCs
