Responsibilities
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery, electrical systems, and facility infrastructure using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues involving welding, mechanical components, and facility equipment to minimize downtime
Perform electrical repairs, including wiring, circuit troubleshooting, and programming programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to ensure automation systems operate correctly
Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to accurately diagnose issues and implement effective solutions
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for scheduling, parts inventory, and work order tracking
Lead or assist with welding projects and residential painting tasks as needed to support facility improvements
Supervise or collaborate with team members during maintenance tasks, ensuring safety protocols are followed and work is completed efficiently
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in facilities maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial environment, with strong mechanical knowledge
Hands-on experience with electrical systems, schematics, PLC programming, and troubleshooting using tools such as ohmmeters
Skilled in welding techniques and residential painting for facility upgrades or repairs
Knowledge of CMMS software for maintenance planning and documentation
Ability to read technical schematics and electrical diagrams accurately
Excellent communication skills in English to effectively coordinate with team members and other departments
Strong customer service mindset with the ability to prioritize safety while maintaining high productivity standards
Preferred
Supervising or leadership experience in a maintenance setting is preferred but not mandatory
