Responsibilities
Lead and participate in project estimating, bid reviews, and pre-bid meetings
Perform detailed take-offs and manage subcontractor negotiations
Track quantities, process billing, and oversee project financials using AIA documentation
Serve as the go-to for both field and office coordination on public and commercial jobs
Ensure proper close-out of projects with all required paperwork and compliance
Work directly with clients, subs, and internal teams to deliver high-quality work on schedule
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in heavy civil construction
Proven expertise in milling, paving, utility, and drainage work
Strong estimating background with blueprint/spec reading proficiency
Experience managing or supporting complex infrastructure projects
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and construction documentation (AIA forms)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently
Preferred
Direct experience in construction project management as well as estimating
Familiarity with NJDOT, Port Authority, DPMC, SDA, or other public agency work
