Responsibilities
Support real estate finance transactions including lending, acquisitions, and development matters
Draft and negotiate loan documents and related agreements
Work directly with partners and clients on complex real estate finance matters
Manage due diligence and transaction coordination
Interact with clients, lenders, borrowers, and opposing counsel
Handle meaningful substantive legal work with increasing responsibility
Qualification
Required
3-5 years of real estate finance experience at an AmLaw 120 law firm
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials
Active bar membership in New York or Illinois
Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to manage matters with increasing independence
