Responsibilities
Design and own network and perimeter security architectures across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments
Act as SME for firewall platforms (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco, Check Point, Juniper)
Lead security programs and initiatives, managing scope, timelines, risks, and delivery
Provide architectural oversight for incident response, threat detection, and firewall optimization
Define standards, reference architectures, and best practices for firewall, VPN, segmentation, and zero trust
Ensure compliance with PCI DSS, ISO 27001, NIST, and internal security policies
Collaborate with SOC, network, cloud, and infrastructure teams to implement secure solutions
Mentor security and SOC teams; support complex security incidents as needed
Qualification
Required
15+ years in network or cybersecurity roles, including architecture or senior engineering experience
Strong hands-on experience with enterprise firewalls and network security design
Deep understanding of TCP/IP, VPNs, NAT, routing, and secure network architecture
Experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, and network security monitoring
Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK and threat-based security design
Proven experience leading security programs and technical deliveries
Relevant certifications (CISSP, CCSE, PCNSE, NSE, CCNP Security) preferred
