The role involves creating fully dimensioned manufacturing drawings for existing legacy components using AutoCAD, ensuring compliance with ASME drafting standards, and linking completed drawings to the SAP material records.

Responsibilities
Produce 2D manufacturing drawings in AutoCAD using provided templates
Identify and apply the correct template based on part type
Populate drawing templates with accurate dimensions, characteristics, and title block data
Interpret product information from SAP-generated Excel files
Access SAP (Material Master – MRP3) when exceptions or missing data require verification
Ensure all drawings are ASME compliant and manufacturing-ready
Flag and document discrepancies, missing data, or inconsistencies in Excel or SAP
Upload and link completed drawings to the correct SAP material record using provided procedures
Follow established drafting standards, naming conventions, and document control rules
Qualification
Required
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD 2D drafting
Experience producing fully dimensioned manufacturing drawings
Working knowledge of ASME drafting standards
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work from structured Excel and ERP data
Clear communication skills, especially when identifying data issues
Preferred
Experience with SAP or other ERP systems
Background linking technical documents to ERP material records
Experience with ERP-derived Excel datasets
Familiarity with legacy documentation cleanup projects
Manufacturing or industrial component drafting experience
