Responsibilities

Oversee Facilities and EHS Departments, monitors activities of the personnel and applicable EHS and facilities contractors
Maintain documentation for audits and inspections related to facility operations and environmental health and safety
Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations
Develop and Maintain Process Hazard Assessments (PHA) for existing and newly introduced processes
Lead strategies for a Safety-First Culture via training programs, safety practices, emergency preparedness, hazardous waste management, sustainability initiatives and environmental impact
Primary contact between company, regulatory agencies, service contracts for building systems, janitorial services, landscaping, fire prevention and security
Lead facility upgrades and capex projects, including equipment installation and infrastructure improvements
Other responsibilities as assigned by the President

Required

Five (5) or more years of equipment and facilities maintenance and EHS experience in manufacturing combined with minimum five (5) years prior supervisory experience
Extensive knowledge of the EHS local, state and federal regulations
Ability to analyze and solve problems to drive continuous improvement initiatives
Extensive experience in an industrial manufacturing environment preferably in Aviation, Aerospace, & Defense or another highly regulated industry

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or related engineering degree is preferred
Facilities management experience in Aviation, Aerospace, Defense, or another highly regulated industry is highly preferred
