Responsibilities

Serve as the primary authority for GCP security architecture, providing direction and approval for secure cloud designs

Define and maintain security reference architectures and design standards for GCP services

Lead the security architecture for Generative AI and ML platforms, including Gemini and Vertex AI, ensuring strong data isolation and identity boundaries

Design and govern organization-wide security controls, including IAM models, VPC Service Controls, and Organization Policy frameworks

Review cloud security posture findings at an architectural level, identifying systemic gaps and improving baseline security designs

Produce clear, well-structured HLD and LLD documentation that enables engineering teams to build securely and consistently

Partner with platform, cloud, and engineering leadership to embed security early in solution design

Qualification

Required

8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with significant focus on GCP security architecture

Demonstrated experience designing large-scale, enterprise GCP environments

Deep understanding of GCP IAM architecture and access models

Deep understanding of VPC Service Controls (VPC-SC)

Deep understanding of Organization Policy Constraints and governance frameworks

Deep understanding of GCP-native security services such as Cloud Armor

Strong capability in security architecture documentation and standards development

Comfortable influencing teams through design governance and architectural oversight

Professional GCP Security Architect / Engineer certification (or equivalent)

Preferred

Experience securing AI/ML or Generative AI platforms in cloud environments

Familiarity with Vertex AI, Gemini, or similar AI services

Background working within large enterprise or regulated environments

Prior involvement in architecture review boards or security governance forums
