Participants will engage in technical training, professional development, and career readiness activities to build foundational skills and earn industry-recognized certifications.

Responsibilities

Technical Training & Skill Development

Actively participate in daily instructor-led technical training

Complete hands-on labs, projects, and assessments

Prepare for and sit for industry-recognized certifications, including:

CompTIA Security+

CompTIA Linux+

Splunk Core Certified User

Attend weekly professional development workshops focused on:

Resume and LinkedIn optimization

Interview preparation

Career navigation and workplace readiness

Participate in resume reviews and 1:1 coaching sessions

Engage with guest speakers, hiring partners, and volunteers

Meet assignment deadlines and participation requirements

Communicate proactively about absences or scheduling conflicts

Demonstrate professionalism in all virtual and written communication

Maintain engagement in cohort discussions and collaborative activities

You MUST be within the 180-day window to your separation date

Strong commitment to transitioning into a technology or cybersecurity career

Preferred

Prior exposure to IT, networking, or cybersecurity concepts
