HRIS Administrator / HRIS Analyst
Hollstadt Consulting is seeking an experienced HRIS Administrator/Analyst contractor to support their Tier 2 HR operations team. This role will primarily manage Workday HCM transactions, audits, case management via ServiceNow HRSD, and data integrity activities.

Responsibilities
Process Change Job transactions initiated via Ask HR cases; approve and finalize changes in Workday
Process Move Workers (organization and manager changes) submitted by Business HR
Manage Supervisory Organization updates, including creating new supervisory orgs and maintaining existing ones
Execute compensation corrections, including corrections requested by Business HR and Total Rewards, using Compensation History
Complete Workday weekly audits to ensure date accuracy and follow-up on outstanding approvals
Monitor and act on Workday To‑Do tasks
Monitor the ESC mailbox HRIS folder and HRIS transaction mailbox and take appropriate action on requests
Review Workday notifications for accuracy and request enhancements when necessary
Support acquisitions Workday processes. Work with acquisition project team to collect the necessary data, put data into EIB loaders, test EIBs in lower environments and finally production. Work closely with project team on timing
Manage profit‑sharing reminders and partner with Talent Acquisition and BHR to ensure timely processing of terminations and start-date updates
Identify additional Workday audits as needed to ensure data accuracy
Assist in improving HR knowledge articles
Identify and recommend continuous improvement opportunities across Tier 2 processes
Partner with Total Rewards, SMEs, and functional users to identify opportunities to automate, streamline, and improve Workday processes
Perform Workday configuration and maintenance tasks, including testing, documentation, and training material updates
Manage and monitor internal and external vendor file transmissions; troubleshoot issues and recommend improvements
Build, maintain, and optimize queries, reports, and dashboards
Participate in system testing for Workday patches, fixes, upgrades, and new module implementations
Qualification
Required
2–5+ years of experience in HRIS, HR Operations, or HR Analytics roles
Hands‑on experience with Workday HCM; strong understanding of supervisory orgs, job changes, compensation, and reporting
Strong integrity and discretion—must handle highly confidential employee data
Exceptional attention to detail and strong data quality mindset
Ability to troubleshoot issues, identify patterns, and recommend solutions
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including cross‑team collaboration
Experience with continuous improvement or HR process enhancement initiatives
Preferred
Experience with ServiceNow HRSD case management preferred
Previous experience supporting Workday Production Support / Tier 2 HRIS work
Exposure to acquisitions
Experience in large, matrixed organizations
