Responsibilities
Analyze business margins, providing insights on trends and variations by region, key accounts, and products
Consolidate data for new business development and prepare analyses for monthly/quarterly management reports
Manage fixed costs analysis, isolating variations by function and region to meet business unit and corporate requirements
Prepare global slides with analytical commentary for monthly reporting (RCG)
Own the consolidation of volume, sales, and margin (VPM), ensure budget deck consistency, and assist regional controllers with completion
Process Standardization within GBU
Oversee reporting governance and consistency, including VPM reconciliation with P&L, customer/product segmentation, fixed costs by nature/region, and manufacturing costs segmentation
Analyze business unit processes to identify gaps and recommend actions for improved consistency
Coordinate data collection (sales, fixed costs) to build global databases, managing regional inputs for consistent consolidation
Conduct worldwide studies on accounting practices and SAP usage, covering fixed cost segmentation, margin variance categorization, gross to net sales, and shared department allocation keys
Support global functions like product line marketing and key account managers on initiatives such as connected product lines, sourcing models, and pricing strategy analysis
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or Audit roles; experience supporting a business unit or in advanced business analysis is preferred
Excellent interpersonal skills for communicating with senior business managers
Strong analytical skills with a commitment to continuous learning
Ability to simplify financial concepts for broad understanding
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
Preferred
Experience supporting a business unit or in advanced business analysis
Working knowledge of SAP, OneStream, and Power BI
