Responsibilities
Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies
Evaluate and recommend new solutions to ensure the organization’s infrastructure remains modern, competitive, and aligned with business needs
Apply architectural best practices to integrate new technologies seamlessly into existing environments
Develop both short-term and long-term architecture strategies for IT projects
Lead capacity planning for storage, data retention, backup, and disaster recovery, ensuring that infrastructure can scale to meet future demands and regulatory requirements
Architect and deploy reliable, secure, and cost-effective hardware and software solutions
Ensure these solutions provide scalability and flexibility for current and future business needs, while optimizing performance and minimizing operational risks
Develop and implement comprehensive IT infrastructure security policies and procedures
Ensure all systems and processes comply with organizational standards and regulatory requirements
Proactively identify and mitigate security risks, and conduct regular audits to maintain a secure environment
Qualification
Required
Extensive hands-on experience with enterprise IT infrastructure, including hardware, hosting, and networking
Proven ability to develop and execute architecture strategies and capacity plans
Strong understanding of security frameworks, compliance standards, and risk management
Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), automation tools (Ansible, Chef), and migration methodologies
Deep knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, as well as big data technologies
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills
Preferred
Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, Cisco, VMware) are highly desirable
