This role focuses on overseeing the engineering teams to deliver a scalable network while modernizing the platform through automation and software-defined design.

Responsibilities
Define and execute the technical roadmap for IP (Routing/Switching) and Transport (DWDM/Fiber) platforms to support 100G/400G+ growth
Partner with Product and Sales to translate market vision into scalable, launch-ready connectivity solutions
Forecast long-term CAPEX/OPEX cycles and build data-driven business cases for multi-year infrastructure investment
Identify high-potential technical leaders and mentor them into people management roles, building a strong leadership pipeline
Design geo-redundant architectures and disaster recovery strategies that exceed SLA and availability requirements
Establish and track KPIs for network reliability, latency, utilization, and deployment velocity
Own strategic relationships with Tier 1 vendors (Cisco, Juniper, Ciena, Nokia) to influence roadmaps, pricing, and supply strategy
Drive adoption of network automation and IaC to improve consistency, speed, and operational reliability
Lead metro and long-haul fiber design, DWDM architecture, and optical capacity planning

Required

Product-to-Network Alignment – Partner with Product and Sales to translate market vision into scalable, launch-ready connectivity solutions
Financial & Capacity Planning – Forecast long-term CAPEX/OPEX cycles and build data-driven business cases for multi-year infrastructure investment
Engineering Leadership Development – Identify high-potential technical leaders and mentor them into people management roles, building a strong leadership pipeline
