The role involves managing EDI projects, collaborating with internal teams and external partners, and ensuring reliable EDI operations.

Responsibilities
Manage EDI implementations, enhancements, and change requests from initiation through completion using structured project management methodologies
Gather, document, and validate business and technical requirements for EDI integrations and enhancements
Support JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2 EDI tables to ensure accurate and reliable data exchange with trading partners
Act as the primary liaison between business users, IT teams, trading partners, and third-party EDI providers
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve EDI issues related to data, mappings, translations, and communications
Manage EDI incidents, problems, and service requests through ServiceNow, ensuring timely resolution and stakeholder communication
Perform root cause analysis on recurring EDI issues and recommend system, process, or data improvements
Support EDI activities for enterprise initiatives such as acquisitions, divestitures, system upgrades, and site migrations
Identify risks, gaps, and inefficiencies in EDI processes and recommend corrective actions
Qualification
Required
3–5 years of experience as an EDI Analyst or EDI Specialist in an IT, manufacturing, or supply chain environment
Strong knowledge of EDI standards, including ANSI X12 and EDIFACT
Hands-on experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne EDI tables and transaction processing
Experience managing EDI projects using Waterfall or similar methodologies
Proven experience managing EDI incidents, service requests, and change management through ServiceNow
Experience working with EDI platforms such as SPS Commerce, TrueCommerce, OpenText, or similar providers
Strong business analysis skills, including requirements gathering and documentation
Ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Preferred
Experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)
Experience supporting EDI integrations across multiple business units
Familiarity with ITIL-based service management practices
Experience supporting M&A-related EDI integrations
