Assistant Registrar
Vanguard Group Staffing, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Registrar to coordinate academic requirements and ensure compliance with timelines and budgets. The role involves managing commencement activities, maintaining student records, and assisting with graduation processes.
Responsibilities
Develop guest lists, seating arrangements, honors recognition, and distributing diplomas or certificates during the ceremonies
Assist with the management and maintenance of University Commencement website and email account
Coordinate with Staff and Departmental Leadership to create/tailor invitations, social media strategies, and web student communication
Provide assistance to Registrar with: overseeing the application for graduation process and ensuring all required paperwork is submitted
Update and maintain student records
Conduct degree audits; ensure student have fulfilled all academic requirements for specific programs
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 5 years of experience planning and coordinating student activities within Higher Education
Bachelor's degree required with relevant experience in Academic Administration, Event Management, Public Administration
Experience in contract negotiation, vendor coordination logistics planning and coordinating large-scale Student events
Must have excellent leadership, interpersonal, organization oral and written communication skills
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Websites Design, and working knowledge of BI Tools
