Axiom Global Technologies is seeking an experienced Solution Integrator to support the customization, configuration, and integration of Energy Management Systems (EMS) and SCADA solutions within electric utility environments. The role involves working closely with utilities and grid operators, configuring advanced power system applications, and integrating EMS/SCADA systems with various components.

Responsibilities

Work closely with utilities and grid operators to understand functional and integration requirements for EMS/SCADA systems

Configure and integrate advanced power system applications including:

State Estimation

Power Flow

Contingency Analysis

Automatic Generation Control (AGC)

Alarms & Calculations

Perform data modeling, configuration, and mapping of measurements, controls, alarms, and network topology

Integrate EMS/SCADA systems with RTUs, telemetry, front-end processors, and enterprise applications

Develop and execute integration, system, regression, and performance test plans

Troubleshoot integration and communication issues using logs and protocol traces

Support deployments, commissioning activities, and production cutovers

Prepare technical documentation including design documents, configuration guides, test reports, and runbooks

Required

5+ years of experience delivering and customizing Energy Management Systems (Preferably Reliance EMS)

3+ years of experience in the electric utility industry

Strong understanding of EMS/SCADA architecture and grid operations

Hands-on experience with communication protocols: IEC 60870-5-101/104, DNP3, MODBUS

Experience debugging communication issues using protocol analyzers and logs

Proficiency in C++, Java, or Python

Comfortable working in Linux environments (shell, logs, build tools, debugging)

Experience using Jira for issue tracking and defect management

Preferred

IEC 61850 exposure is a plus
