Responsibilities
Advise insurers on coverage positions, draft opinions, and litigate declaratory judgment, bad faith, and policy disputes
Defend complex liability claims (premises, construction, products, auto) from intake through trial and appeals
Manage discovery, motions, depositions, and mediations in multi-party, high-exposure matters
Handle reinsurance and subrogation recoveries for major carriers
Collaborate on efficient resolutions across NY/NJ courts for national and international clients
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Active license to practice law in New York and/or New Jersey
Experience in insurance coverage and defense litigation
Strong analytical and writing skills
Ability to manage complex litigation and multi-party matters
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
