Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and improve the network infrastructure
Develop and deploy advanced network configurations to ensure high availability and fault tolerance
Employ industry-leading cybersecurity practices to safeguard our digital ecosystem
Monitor and proactively manage the network infrastructure for optimal performance and capacity
Conduct regular maintenance activities and implement system upgrades
Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to investigate and respond to security incidents
Lead network projects aimed at enhancing fault tolerance, scalability, and cybersecurity
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including Standard Operating Procedures, workflows, and inventories
Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements, assisting in the development of strategic roadmaps
Analyze vendors and contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness and operational efficiency
Collaborate with contracted services for project management and maintain positive vendor relationships
Provide necessary reports, logs, and evidence for compliance audits
Assist with disaster recovery and business continuity planning and testing
Qualification
Required
Hold professional certifications such as Cisco CCNP or equivalent experience, Azure or similar cloud network specialization, and network security certifications (e.g., PCNSE, NSE 4+, Security+, CEH)
Possess a bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent experience, along with 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise LAN/WAN/WLAN environments, particularly in global 24x7 settings
Demonstrate advanced knowledge of Cisco switching and routing protocols, cloud networking, SD-WAN technologies, and network security methodologies
Preferred
Demonstrated hands-on experience with cloud platforms like Azure
