Finance Manager (M&A Integration)

Prana Tree is focused on enhancing its mergers and acquisitions strategy and is seeking a Finance Manager specialized in M&A Integration. The role involves overseeing financial due diligence, post-merger integration, and ensuring accurate financial reporting and controls for acquired entities.

Responsibilities

Support financial due diligence for potential acquisitions, including analysis of historical financials, quality of earnings, working capital, and cash flows
Assist in transaction structuring from a finance and accounting perspective
Partner with external advisors, auditors, and consultants during M&A transactions
Lead or support financial integration of acquired companies, including chart of accounts, accounting policies, financial close, and reporting processes
Align financial systems, ERP platforms, and internal controls post-acquisition
Ensure timely consolidation of acquired entities into group financial statements
Monitor integration milestones, risks, and issue resolution
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards (IFRS / US GAAP, as applicable)
Support the establishment and strengthening of internal controls in newly acquired entities
Coordinate audits, including purchase price allocation (PPA) and opening balance sheet reviews
Oversee integration-related accounting, including goodwill, intangibles, and intercompany transactions
Track cost and revenue synergies and support integration business cases
Develop and maintain post-acquisition forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses
Partner with FP&A to ensure accurate reporting of integration impacts
Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership on financial performance
Work closely with Tax, Legal, HR, IT, and Operations teams during integration efforts
Serve as a key finance liaison between parent company and acquired entities
Prepare executive-level updates and integration status reports

Required

5–10 years of progressive experience in Finance, Accounting, FP&A, or Corporate Finance
Hands-on experience supporting mergers and acquisitions, with a strong focus on post-merger integration
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, consolidation, and accounting standards
Experience with ERP and financial systems integration
Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred

CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent professional certification
Experience in large enterprises, multinational organizations, or high-growth environments
Exposure to cross-border M&A transactions
Experience working with Big 4 or other professional services firms
