Responsibilities
Supervise, coach, and train cash application specialists; assign workloads, monitor performance, and reinforce quality standards
Oversee accurate application of customer payments across multiple ERP systems; investigate unapplied cash, short-pays, and discrepancies and drive timely resolution
Complete reconciliations and reporting tied to cash application activity; ensure deadlines and close requirements are met
Track accuracy, timeliness, and throughput; share trends and insights with the Cash Application Manager to support decision-making
Identify ways to streamline workflows, strengthen controls, and increase automation to improve speed and accuracy
Handle other priorities as assigned based on business needs
Qualification
Required
3+ years of A/R cash application experience
ERP experience required (Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics a plus)
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent experience
1–2 years of team lead/supervisory experience
Understanding of Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes and shared services
