Responsibilities

Contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of internal and external Sustainability communications and educational materials
Complete quantitative and qualitative reporting and analysis related to the Sustainability strategy and goals/targets
Assist with intranet functions within the department
Support internal and external engagement activities designed to educate the organization and community on sustainability
Recommend strategic initiatives and engage stakeholders in the implementation
Lead the organization in awareness of trends and developments within Sustainability
Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management
Promote an environment that supports belonging and reflects the M&T Bank brand
Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable
Complete other related duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's Degree candidate at a school where M&T Bank recruits MDPs (or an MBA student with no work experience)
