Application Developer

Responsibilities
Designs, develops, and maintains applications and related systems ensuring compliance with design criteria, security protocols, programming standards, compatibility issues, disaster recovery plans, and documentation requirements established by the University and/or contract partners
Works closely with project staff to convert databases and technical reports into user-friendly templates for non-technical staff
Provides easy access to reports, analyses, and other products designed to meet the needs of staff working in various programs
Provides support to project teams working with large and small data sets including but not limited to healthcare data and healthcare provider quality measure reporting
Qualification
Required
Master's degree and five years of relevant professional experience; or a bachelor's degree and at least seven years of relevant professional experience
Knowledge and experience with web and application programming, relational database design, and database architecture
Experience with database management
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Reporting Services, and SQL Server Integration Services
