Responsibilities
Design end-to-end AV solutions for executive boardrooms, immersive collaboration spaces, and global Unified Communications (UC) deployments
Architect scalable, secure, and standards-compliant AV-over-IP systems
Develop comprehensive design documentation, including:
Signal flow diagrams
Rack elevations
Reflected ceiling plans (RCPs)
Review and redline technical submittals to ensure accuracy and compliance
Configure and optimize advanced DSP audio signal chains
Develop and troubleshoot control logic and workflows using Crestron and Q-SYS platforms
Ensure all designs adhere to AVIXA (CTS) standards
Enforce internal cybersecurity and networking standards for all networked AV devices
Act as the technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) during:
Client meetings
Site surveys
System commissioning and final acceptance
Support cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle
Qualification
Required
5+ years of hands-on enterprise AV experience
Design end-to-end AV solutions for executive boardrooms, immersive collaboration spaces, and global Unified Communications (UC) deployments
Architect scalable, secure, and standards-compliant AV-over-IP systems
Develop comprehensive design documentation, including signal flow diagrams, rack elevations, and reflected ceiling plans (RCPs)
Review and redline technical submittals to ensure accuracy and compliance
Configure and optimize advanced DSP audio signal chains
Develop and troubleshoot control logic and workflows using Crestron and Q-SYS platforms
Ensure all designs adhere to AVIXA (CTS) standards
Enforce internal cybersecurity and networking standards for all networked AV devices
Act as the technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) during client meetings, site surveys, system commissioning and final acceptance
Support cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle
Strong expertise with Crestron NVX (AV-over-IP), Flex solutions, and advanced control programming
Expert-level proficiency with Q-SYS Designer, including scripting and UCI design
Advanced experience with Biamp Tesira platforms, including Dante and AVB integration
Expert-level deployment and support of Zoom Rooms and Poly hardware ecosystems
Experience with AI-driven camera tracking systems and beamforming microphone arrays
Minimum 3 years of professional AV drafting experience with AutoCAD
Proficient in submittal review and redlining with Bluebeam
Strong understanding of Layer 2/Layer 3 networking, including VLANs and multicast traffic management
Minimum 5 years of experience in a dedicated AV Engineering or AV Design role
College degree required
Preferred
10+ years of AV design and engineering experience
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline
Crestron certification (MTA or MCP)
Q-SYS Level 2 or Level 3 certification
