Responsibilities
Work on complex, high-stakes commercial disputes with real responsibility early on, not commodity litigation
Deepen their experience in sophisticated business disputes within a nationally recognised litigation practice, while maintaining a sustainable schedule and strong mentorship
Focus on complex contract-based commercial litigation, partnership and shareholder disputes, high-value business tort and commercial claims, and matters that routinely proceed through discovery and pre-trial stages
Involvement in substantive litigation work, not just cite-checking
Meaningful responsibility in discovery strategy and motion practice
Direct exposure to experienced litigators who are invested in associate development
Collaborative, professional culture with clear expectations and feedback
Hybrid working model (approximately three days in office)
Qualification
Required
2–3 years of experience in business or commercial litigation
Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
Experience supporting discovery and drafting pre-trial motions
Solid academic credentials
Admitted in Illinois or actively taking steps toward admission
