Responsibilities

Serves as the Supervisor of the IT Branch, supervising a team of specialists (NF-4/GS-09 level) performing Systems Administration and the delivery of Information Technology
Formulates and publishes technical guidance and standard operating procedures for IT specialists; and ensures that supplies, equipment and other materials are available
Provides ongoing optimization and problem solving support to minimize interruptions in customers' ability to carry out critical business activities
Prepares and presents reports and briefings to technical staff
Applies information security and information assurance policy, principles, and practices

Required

Must possess at least one (1) year of experience performing duties that have provided you with the knowledge and skill of: Principles and methods for integrating information systems components; performance tuning tools and techniques; system diagnostic tool and fault identification techniques; systems administration methods; and IT security principles
Must possess intensive training providing you an IT Certification that has provided you with the demonstrated knowledge and skills in applying the following: Principles and methods for integrating information systems components; performance tuning tools and techniques; system diagnostic tool and fault identification techniques; systems administration methods; and IT security principles
Must possess a graduate degree in one of the following fields of study: computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, or technology management
Must possess a graduate level education that includes a minimum of twenty-four (24) semester hours in one or more of the following fields (computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, or technology management) AND required the development or adaptation of applications, systems or networks
Must possess a combination of the above listed experience, education and intensive training to provide you with the knowledge and skill of: Principles and methods for integrating information systems components; performance tuning tools and techniques; system diagnostic tool and fault identification techniques; systems administration methods; and IT security principles

Preferred

At least one year of previous or current experience working in an Army Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation program
At least one year of RecTrac (or similar Point of Sales system) experience
