Responsibilities
Architect next‑generation cloud platforms and automation solutions
Devise and evolve code‑driven automation strategies that ensure environment consistency across development, testing, and production
Build long‑term automation solutions using scripting and programming (Groovy, Shell, Python, Terraform, or Java/JavaScript)
Provide technical leadership and implementation guidance for UI, APIs, and microservices
Work with development teams to guide best practices, design patterns, and operational standards
Understand new architectural concepts and recommend improvements from an infrastructure and security perspective
Support reliability engineering efforts and participate in on-call rotations for mission-critical & revenue-impacting cloud services
Design and implement enterprise DevOps architectures, reference patterns, and tooling strategies
Implement and maintain CI/CD tools and pipelines across the organization (GitLab preferred)
Enable seamless, secure, and available software builds and deployments across Agile teams
Configure, tune, deploy, and operate Kubernetes clusters (EKS preferred)
Maintain containerized applications with Docker or similar technologies
Qualification
Required
Five (5) years of experience in Technology or a related field
Four (4) years with CI tools such as GitLab (preferred), or Bamboo
Four (4) years architecting and developing automation to support Continuous Delivery
Three (3) years administering Kubernetes
Three (3) years on AWS cloud platforms
Proficiency in scripting/programming in Bash
Experience supporting reliability efforts, on‑call rotations
This is a hybrid role and would require to be near our Memphis, Dallas, or McLean office locations
Travel up to 10%
Preferred
Bachelor's degree OR Associate's + 6 years tech experience OR HS/GED + 12 years tech experience
Seven (7)+ years of technology experience
Five (5) years of CI tool experience (GitLab or Bamboo), Cloud and Kubernetes platforms
One (1) year of management experience
Scripting experience in Python or Terraform
