Law Clerk II

CACI International Inc is seeking a Law Clerk II to assist with ongoing document review projects for large scale white-collar fraud investigations in support of the DOJ. Responsibilities

Examine protocol materials, warrants, and other legal work product and filings specific to each matter
Review and identify potentially privileged material containing attorney work product, attorney-client privilege, spousal privilege, and common interest privilege, as applicable
Work closely with Fraud Section Special Matters Unit attorneys to ensure potentially privileged documents are properly quarantined from the investigation and prosecution teams
Communicate key issues and notable documents with team
Perform quality control review as needed
Serve as team lead on assigned cases and assist with drafting release memos as needed

Required

Requires Law degree, or currently attending an ABA-accredited law school, having completed at least two years of study or, an equivalent level of legal training or experience; or an equivalent level of education may be substituted. Additionally, must have at least two years of progressively more responsible experience on litigation support projects or task order related projects including proven capabilities and communication skills to successfully interact with clients and attorneys
Requires sound working knowledge of federal and state court systems, legal research procedures, and legal research resources (including Westlaw and Lexis)
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Hands-on familiarity with ESI tools and knowledge of eDiscovery procedures, resources, and databases (including Relativity)
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOJ MBI clearance (US citizenship required)
