Responsibilities
Coordinates shipping and receiving of supplies
Notify departments of order status and assist with loading supplies
Maintains inventory of all supplies, equipment, materials, and tools, and prepares daily, weekly and monthly cycle counts for inventory accuracy
Reviews contracts to ensure vendor compliance
Participates in vendor meetings; assist in establishing product specifications
Reconciles storeroom inventory against a computer-generated report
Research costs and specifications for equipment purchases and regular inventory
Ensures the proper storage, accountability, and warehousing of all supplies and equipment
Distributes components, commodities, supplies and equipment to personnel and contractors
Responsible for housekeeping, notification of maintenance and damage reporting for all warehouse equipment, shelving, pallets racks, interior and exterior structure and grounds
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
One to three years of experience in computerized general warehousing, store keeping, inventory control experience in automotive, truck or vehicular related equipment parts and assemblies
Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license with an acceptable driving history
Background investigation, including supervised drug screen, post offer/pre-employment medical screen; and verification of education, certifications, and licenses required prior to employment
Preferred
Experience operating heavy equipment, such as a forklift, or cherry picker
Forklift operator certification
