Responsibilities
Operate and expand release automation (goal: 100% automated) and execute weekend release activities (start/stop servers, URL/service health checks, validations)
Pair TOSCA test automation with Ansible playbooks for end-to-end release validation
Manage ~112 automation jobs per release and CI/CD pipelines using GitLab runners/pipelines
Create new automation for non-automated apps/tools and maintain ~65–70% ? 100% automation progress
Monitor production health, respond to incidents, and escalate using monitoring/alerting tools
Maintain runbooks, playbooks, and release documentation; log/close release tickets in ServiceNow
Collaborate with application, business automation, and operations teams; mentor junior engineers
Qualification
Required
TOSCA — advanced hands-on test automation
Ansible — orchestration and configuration automation
Git/GitLab — runners, pipelines, CI/CD workflow management
Python — scripting for glue code and automation tasks
Production support experience with large-scale release automation and weekend support cadence
ServiceNow or equivalent ITSM experience
Strong troubleshooting, incident response, and communication skills
Preferred
Dynatrace — production monitoring and performance diagnostics
Splunk — log analysis and alerting for incident investigation
