Responsibilities
Develop and maintain manufacturing routers, production drawings, and work instructions
Lead engineering initiatives focused on optimizing efficiency, minimizing downtime, and improving process flow
Partner closely with Sales to assess product manufacturability and provide engineering support during quoting and order setup
Manage and mentor a team of engineers and planners; oversee performance, staffing, training, and safety compliance
Drive continuous improvement using lean manufacturing principles and data-driven decision-making
Ensure accurate and timely implementation of work orders, engineering changes, and documentation updates
Support root-cause analysis and corrective action activities related to production issues
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering required
10+ years of experience leading engineering teams within a production or manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, manufacturing processes, and ERP systems
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence process improvements
Preferred
Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
