Responsibilities
Design and deploy RAG pipelines that retrieve from structured and unstructured healthcare data and produce reliable, grounded answers
Build LLM-driven systems that:
Scan documents
Extract intent and entities
Trigger downstream actions (updates, workflows, notifications)
Develop and iterate on prompting, evaluation, and fine-tuning strategies for text, vision, and voice models
Build agentic workflows using function calling, tool orchestration, and reasoning loops
Train and improve Voice AI systems (ASR → NLU → action → response)
Own AI services from prototype → production → monitoring
Integrate AI workflows into backend systems using APIs, events, and GraphQL
Deploy and scale AI services on Kubernetes
Design fault-tolerant systems with observability, retries, and human-in-the-loop fallbacks
Qualification
Required
8+ years in software engineering with significant recent focus on AI/ML systems
Shipped production AI products, not just experiments or notebooks
Deep hands-on experience with RAG architectures
Deep hands-on experience with embeddings and vector databases
Deep hands-on experience with prompt engineering and evaluation
Deep hands-on experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Hugging Face, or equivalent)
Strong backend engineering skills in Python (required)
Experience with TypeScript and modern web frameworks
Familiarity with Golang for understanding or extending backend services
Comfortable working with GraphQL APIs
