Responsibilities
Responsible for the techno-functional impact analysis, design & code construction activities associated with development of software releases for the CVS Retail Pharmacy systems
Involved throughout the entire development life cycle of a product and must be able to deliver an efficient solution, as well as identify and properly mitigate any risks to the product before deployment to production
Qualification
Required
7+ years of software development experience in enterprise/web applications
5+ years of experience as full stack developer in Java-based technologies including microservices and spring boot framework /REST
5+ years of experience Cloud Technologies like Azure, GCP or other public cloud services and Knowledge of open-source packages especially those provided by Apache, Google, and Spring
2 + years of experience in React JS, Nodejs or other front-end frameworks; ability to develop effective engineering practices and processes with responsive UI design and development
5+ years of experience in Database – SQL, NoSQL, table structure, data relationships
3+ years of experience in Agile development practices
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)
Preferred
Experience in Retail Pharmacy or Healthcare domain will be preferred
Knowledge with GraphQL/gRPC
Expert knowledge of software engineering best practices with experience building complex software engineering products
Extensive experience with building and driving adoption of software engineering best practices
Strong understanding of distributed systems, cloud computing, and microservices architectures
Worked as Full Stack Developer with experience on building mission critical /highly scalable application with large user/infrastructure footprint
Strong background in software development, project management methodologies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to inspire and motivate a team
The candidate will have a strong work ethic, be a self-starter, and be able to be highly productive in a dynamic, collaborative environment
Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices with expertise in working in in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goal
Extensive experience with building and driving adoption of software engineering best practices
Strong understanding of distributed systems, cloud computing, and microservices architectures
