Program Specialist (Controlled Substance Coordinator)

Responsibilities
Providing project management and programs development
Overseeing and directing all budget-related issues
Managing, assessing, implementing, and tracking various programs and projects
Developing programs to ensure that quality provisions are planned, developed and implemented to identify, prevent and correct unsatisfactory conditions and elements
Designing studies, training programs and organizational strategies for identifying opportunities to improve customer service and the quality process
Applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to issues or studies concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of program operations
Monitoring compliance with program regulations
Gathering information, identifying and analyzing issues, and developing recommendations to resolve substantive problems of effectiveness and efficiency of work operations
Developing and implementing procedures for data collection and management
Identifying and developing methods for qualitative interview and focus groups
Developing policies, guidelines, and procedures
Preparing reports and correspondence
Determining priorities and overall project needs
Planning work to be accomplished by subordinates
Evaluating work performance
Identifying and arranging for development and training needs
Performing other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required

Applicants may also combine education and experience to qualify at this level
