Resolution and Recovery Financial Analytics, Associate
Chase is one of the oldest financial institutions, offering innovative financial solutions to a wide range of clients. The Resolution and Recovery Financial Analytics team is responsible for delivering capital analyses for the firm's Resolution and Recovery plans, and the Associate will assist in production, analysis, maintenance, and enhancement of capital analytics and reporting initiatives.

Responsibilities
Conduct firmwide and legal entity specific Resolution and Recovery capital stress testing, analyze capital impacts and identify potential capital risks
Support the production of pro forma financial statements including balance sheet, income statement, and capital metrics (e.g. risk-weighted assets) to form the basis of the capital analytics
Produce high quality and well-structured presentations and ad-hoc analyses for Senior Management and the Board of Directors, Regulatory Agencies, and other key stakeholders
Present relevant information and capital analytics to stakeholders including senior management
Drive end-to-end work streams in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
Develop and maintain a strong understanding of JPMorgan Chase’s regulatory capital requirements, analysis, and processes related to Recovery and Resolution planning
Collaborate with Lines of Business and other stakeholders to ensure complete and accurate analysis in Resolution and Recovery plans
Ensure deliverables are in compliance with evolving regulatory requirements related to capital, specifically around Resolution and Recovery planning
Support initiatives to continually improve and enhance existing processes including technological improvements
Provide guidance and consult with internal stakeholders on Resolution and Recovery initiatives in other jurisdictions, including responding to local regulatory requests
Qualification
Required
3+ years of financial services experience ideally in Corporate Finance, Controllers, Capital Management or Risk Management
Bachelor's Degree required in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills, with emphasis on financial statement analysis and calculation of regulatory capital metrics
Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with a high level of scrutiny and be able to interact effectively with the various stakeholders
Excellent presentation and communication skills; able to succinctly convey complex results and collaborate effectively across lines of business, legal entities, and regions
Ability to work independently with minimal oversight, as well as collaboratively within a team
Able to work under pressure, prioritize multiple tasks and bring tasks to closure
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred
Knowledge of balance sheet, income statement and basic accounting concepts. Experience with regulatory capital preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office including PowerPoint and Excel; experience using VBA, scripting languages (such as Python), Tableau and Databricks a plus
