Responsibilities
Own and govern the enterprise IT disaster recovery framework, ensuring alignment with Business Continuity Planning (BCP), FFIEC, GLBA, and internal risk standards
Establish and maintain disaster recovery standards, recovery tiers, and minimum RTO/RPO requirements across infrastructure and application portfolios
Lead the enterprise DR testing program, including technical failover tests, tabletop exercises, and recovery simulations; document outcomes and track remediation actions to closure
Partner with Infrastructure, Application, Cybersecurity, and Business Continuity teams to perform recoverability assessments, business impact analyses (BIAs), and risk evaluations
Drive prioritization and execution of DR remediation initiatives to address identified gaps and improve recovery readiness
Provide executive-level reporting on disaster recovery posture, test results, material risks, and unresolved deficiencies
Serve as the technology disaster recovery coordinator during actual incidents, supporting recovery execution, escalation, and leadership communications
Maintain disaster recovery documentation, runbooks, contact lists, and escalation procedures
Act as the primary IT disaster recovery subject matter expert for audits, regulatory examinations, and business continuity governance forums
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
5+ years of experience in IT disaster recovery, business continuity, infrastructure operations, or enterprise technology risk management
Strong understanding of on-premises and cloud infrastructure, backup and replication technologies, and cybersecurity principles
Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional initiatives and driving remediation outcomes in complex environments
Experience supporting audits and regulatory requirements related to disaster recovery and business continuity
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate technical risk into business impact
