Digital Press Operator (Xerox/Ricoh)
Primary Services is excited to announce the role of Digital Press Operator for a large, well-established global company. This position supports high-volume, mission-critical print production within a structured manufacturing environment, playing a key role in producing accurate, secure printed materials while following established operating procedures and quality standards.

Responsibilities
Produce printed products using digital print technologies, including Xerox and Ricoh platforms
Set up and operate digital printers and related production and bindery equipment in accordance with SOPs
Retrieve, load, and verify correct paper and check stock for each job
Locate, validate, and upload production files to printing systems
Read work tickets and specification sheets to ensure accurate job execution
Monitor print production for quality, accuracy, and compliance with quality procedures
Calibrate digital presses at the start of each shift, including MICR equipment
Perform daily care, cleaning, and routine maintenance of equipment per manufacturer guidelines
Monitor inventory levels in the production area and initiate replenishment requests as needed
Troubleshoot and resolve computer, software, and printing issues during production
Assist in other production functions, including automated inserting operations
Maintain strict publishing confidentiality for sensitive and regulated materials
Operate with a safe working aptitude and comply with all safety requirements
Stand and walk for extended periods to monitor equipment input and output during an 8-hour shift
Qualification
Required
3–5 years of hands-on experience operating digital press equipment
Demonstrated experience with Xerox and Ricoh digital printing systems
Working knowledge of black-and-white and MICR print production environments
Ability to interpret work tickets, production specifications, and SOP documentation
Experience loading print files and managing digital production workflows
Basic troubleshooting skills for printing hardware, software, and computer systems
Understanding of quality control procedures in a production or manufacturing setting
Ability to perform physical job requirements, including standing and walking for extended periods
Familiarity with secure print operations and confidentiality requirements
