Responsibilities

Be responsible for developing relationships with business teams and developing knowledge of short and long term business plans, product launch roadmaps, and expansion plans and tax point of contact for key Cloud product area initiatives
Manage analysis of business plans to determine tax risks and constraints, including working with internal and external tax resources to research emerging areas of tax law
Lead project management of short and long term business projects requiring tax involvement
Collect information on new product launches and conduct due diligence on tax implications
Prepare presentations to communicate and document tax requirements and risks for these product launches. Participate in meetings with cross-functional representatives to discuss tax recommendations and requirements

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent practical experience
7 years of experience with a public accounting firm, law firm, or industry with emphasis on cross border transactions
1 year of experience with US tax rules applicable to cross-border sale of hardware (e.g., Subpart F)

Preferred

MBA, Juris Doctor (JD) degree, or Master of Science in Taxation (MST)
Understanding of and experience with the taxation of cross border transactions
Ability to work effectively with and build relationships with cross-functional business partners at all levels
Ability to develop creative and practical solutions to ambiguous problems with limited legal precedent
Excellent collaboration and communication skills
