Temporary Student Program Coordinator
Phillips Academy is a prestigious educational institution, and they are seeking a Temporary Student Program Coordinator to manage campus life events and provide administrative support within the Student Activities Office. The coordinator will be responsible for communication, event supervision, and office administration, ensuring a positive experience for students and faculty alike.

Responsibilities
Source, verify, and design the weekly campus events flyer using Photoshop (or equivalent)
Proactively communicate with departments for event submissions to ensure the flyer is distributed to the student body and posted to parents on schedule
Ensure all digital and print communications are professional, accurate, and reflect the school's standards
Provide on-site supervision on Friday and Saturday evening events (typically 8:00 PM – 11:30 PM, with earlier starts as required)
Meet external vendors upon arrival to provide guidance on campus and oversee setup
Operate and troubleshoot sound systems and projection systems for chaperones and student groups
Support event execution and assist with student loading for off-campus excursions
Maintain office hours to assist students with questions and concerns, ensuring the office remains open during Director absences (teaching, interviews, or faculty meetings)
Source and purchase supplies for upcoming events
Collaborate with the Student Activities team to plan future student programming
Manage the high-intensity logistics of Senior Prom, including ticket sales, meal choices, table assignments, and bus rosters for 300+ students
Oversee the sales and distribution of approximately 500 yearbooks, including meticulous record-keeping of pre-orders
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop or professional graphic design software; comfort operating AV/Sound equipment
Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage 'moving parts' (vendors, chaperones, and teenagers) simultaneously
Ability to work a non-traditional schedule including Friday and Saturday nights
Strong interpersonal skills to manage 'high-stakes' interactions with upset students or parents regarding event details

Experience working with high school students strongly desired
