State of Rhode Island is seeking an IT Sourcing Vendor Contract Manager to join their IT Sourcing and Contract Management team. This role involves sourcing new RFPs/RFIs, managing contracts post-award, and overseeing vendor governance.

Responsibilities

Sourcing - New RFP / RFI to help scope , select and award [30%]
Contract Mgmt - Post award, check on them and scope changes and manage Amendments [50%]
Vendor Governance - Manage vendors [20%]
Minimum 10+ years of IT Project management experience; Preference would be your Experience in Managing vendor and being part of Application Implementation and ongoing Maintenance [M&O] Support
Minimum 8-10+ years of Contract management experience including IT vendor and supplier management having done the following:
Statement of Work – facilitating and drafting terms on Scope
RFP / RFI – Drafting RFP to facilitating evaluation
Contract Negotiations – facilitate and complete terms and pricing
Ongoing Contract Management – Part of Project attend vendor performance reviews, review service level management [SLA ] jointly with IT as per measurement cycle; Perform ongoing change order renewals
