Responsibilities
Plan, design, analyze, and test mechanical systems for performance, reliability, and compliance
Coordinate engineering project tasks independently and within cross-functional teams
Develop and maintain engineering documentation
Manage mechanical engineering projects from concept through deployment to the manufacturing floor
Research and implement new engineering technologies to improve manufacturing processes
Mentor and support junior engineers and technical staff
Support multiple projects in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment
Qualification
Required
5+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong FEA proficiency including CAD modeling, SolidWorks, and interpreting simulation results to identify failure points
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering field
Experience supporting projects from concept through manufacturing deployment
Strong understanding of mechanical system performance, reliability, and design validation
Preferred
Familiarity with MIL specifications or manufacturing for Department of Defense (DoD) programs
Experience working for large material handling or industrial system manufacturers (TREW, Honeywell, etc.)
Autodesk Inventor experience
Experience implementing or supporting large-scale mechanical systems (not small device-level manufacturing)
Mechanical shock analysis and testing experience
