Quality Control
Connext is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Quality Control Technician to ensure all production activities meet company standards, safety requirements, and regulatory compliance. This role involves conducting inspections, documentation, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives while collaborating closely with the Quality Control Supervisor and Manager.

Responsibilities
Conduct routine inspections to ensure compliance with company quality standards
Enforce cleanliness, safety practices, and safe working conditions
Monitor all stages of production to identify and prevent quality issues
Identify quality concerns and implement corrective actions
Report bottlenecks, defects, and process issues to the Quality Control Supervisor
Ensure measuring and testing equipment is functioning properly and coordinate repairs when necessary
Maintain accurate documentation for audits and inspections
Assist with reviewing, updating, and improving quality control policies and procedures
Cooperate with regulatory agencies and external inspectors to maintain compliance
Investigate customer complaints and feedback, and recommend solutions
Assess supplier quality and performance
Prepare written reports and submit findings to the Quality Control Manager
Recommend improvements to production standards within equipment capabilities
Participate in safety training programs and assist with employee safety education
Work collaboratively as part of the Quality Control team
Qualification
Required
Knowledge of quality control processes and statistical techniques
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of measurement systems and inspection equipment
Ability to interpret written, verbal, and diagram-based instructions
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to train and explain procedures
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Knowledge of relevant quality standards, regulations, and legislation
Mathematical proficiency including arithmetic, geometry, calculus, and statistics
Ability to work at least 8 hours per day, 5 days per week
Overtime, after-hours, weekend, emergency, or on-call work may be required
Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs as needed, with or without assistance
Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, climb, balance, crawl, and reach throughout the workday
Ability to safely use hand tools, mechanical tools, and equipment
Ability to work while wearing required PPE (safety boots, safety glasses, hard hat)
Ability to work in adverse weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, wind, rain, snow, dust, and adverse driving conditions
May be exposed to dust, fumes, or airborne particles
Regular and punctual attendance is an essential function of this position
Must have a clean, valid Driver's License and be insurable to operate company vehicles
Must pass a background check
