Responsibilities
Leading the monthly close and reporting process for a high-growth consumer products company
Supporting the first-year audit of a newly funded startup by building PBC schedules and driving audit readiness
Implementing new accounting standards (ASC 606, ASC 842) and drafting technical memos
Improving reconciliations and streamlining journal entry workflows using BlackLine
Managing external audit coordination, issue resolution, and internal controls documentation
Assisting in ERP implementations and optimizing subledger integrations
Qualification
Required
Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting best practices
Experience in technical accounting, audit readiness, and close-to-report leadership
Ability to thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy building strong client relationships
Solution-oriented, proactive, and always ready to add value
Experience in varying accounting software (ie. Netsuite, Blackline, SAP, etc)
