Business Development Representative

The Business Development Representative will be responsible for driving sales growth by setting qualified appointments with new clients and generating a high-value sales pipeline through strategic prospecting.

Responsibilities

Leverage proven prospecting techniques to initiate contact with prospective new clients
Generate interest in a discovery meeting with an established Sales Executive
Identify multiple contact points within a supplied list of targets and position the value proposition of our products and services to entice the prospect to learn more about the company through a discovery meeting
Conduct online research to better understand the prospect and contact points’ business objectives to better position our services
Generate a high-value sales pipeline through both strategic and targeted prospecting
Collaborate with the sales team to develop a list of target prospects
Develop and run a pipeline of prospects and provide top-class customer experience
Effectively & smoothly transition a lead to the sales team following the first discovery meeting
Actively utilize Salesforce for all activities related to Lead Generation
Meet with Sales Leaders to evaluate strategy

Required

Under Minimal Supervision and is an Individual Contributor role
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding lead generation targets
Proficiency in Salesforce CRM and other sales technology tools
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex value propositions
Strong time management and organizational skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Demonstrated proficiency in prospecting techniques and lead-generation strategies
Experience using multiple channels for outreach, including email, phone, and social media
Strong research skills for identifying potential clients and understanding their business needs
Ability to handle objections and maintain a positive attitude in the face of rejection
Adaptability to changing market conditions and evolving sales strategies
Professional demeanor and a customer-focused approach to business development

Preferred

2 Year Associate's degree in Business, Communications, or a related field and 2+ years of sales and telemarketing experience with an emphasis on cold calling
