Responsibilities
Continuous improvement utilizing digital transformation initiatives with an emphasis on Agile, Six Sigma, and Lean methodologies
Interpret engineering drawings to ensure accurate translation into manufacturing processes
Generate clear, compliant work instructions to support production activities
Identify areas for improved product manufacturability, reduced product cost, or improved product reliability
Create presentations based on process data and results to show opportunities for productivity improvements and cost savings
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
Solid understanding of manufacturing operations, continuous improvement, and lean six sigma
Proficient to Expert in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams with Planner
Self-motivated to ensure accountability, disciplined to improve processes, passionate about engineering, and organized to track many work streams
Excellent verbal and written communication
Organized with the ability to multi-task while driving actions to completion
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel
Experience with manufacturing processes, methods, and techniques of data visualizations for manufacturing
Developed understanding of 5S & TPM methods
Proficient in RCCA methodology to own actions to drive down product non-conformance
Skilled in project management and follows up on tasks daily
Strong understanding of routers and operations
U.S. citizenship is required
Preferred
Familiarity with Solumina preferred authoring new and editing existing plans
